Athletics athlete Ta Ngoc Tuong has been registered in the list of 16 athletes to participate in the 2026 Asian Relay Championship officially competing from June 20 to June 21 in China.
According to the schedule, Ta Ngoc Tuong and his teammates will go to China on June 18. In his career, this is the first time Ta Ngoc Tuong has participated in the Asian Relay Championship.
Last year, this promising young face participated in SEA Games 33 in Thailand and won a silver medal in the men's 400m, a silver medal in the men's 4x400m relay and a gold medal in the men's and women's 4x400m medley relay.
Notably, Ta Ngoc Tuong's achievement of 45 seconds 53 in the men's 400m event at SEA Games 33 has been recognized as a new national record.
Currently, Tai Ngoc Tuong is being directly trained by expert Simeonov (Bulgaria) at the Vietnamese Athletics Team.
According to preliminary registration at the 2026 Asian Relay Championships, this athlete will participate in the men's 4x400m relay and the mixed 4x400m relay.
This tournament in China is the first international program in 2026 of Ta Ngoc Tuong personally.

Last year at SEA Games 33 in Thailand, Ta Ngoc Tuong, along with Tran Nhat Hoang, Vu Ngoc Khanh, and Le Ngoc Phuc, achieved a result of 3 minutes 03 seconds 85 to win a silver medal in the men's 4x400m relay.
In the 4x400m mixed women's relay event, Ta Ngoc Tuong and his teammates won the gold medal with a time of 3 minutes 15 seconds 07.
