After 90 days, the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games will take place on December 9 in Bangkok (Thailand). The festival organized 54 sports with 574 sets of medals (including 3 demonstration events).
On September 9, the 33rd SEA Games Media and Television Conference closed. The organizing committee carefully discussed related contents of television fees and the contents of planned live signal production.
It is expected that 25 sports of the 33rd SEA Games will be broadcast live on platforms including on-site television, cable television and online.
The Organizing Committee will notify the television fee to the Olympic Committees of countries participating in the 33rd SEA Games. The 33rd SEA Games is expected to welcome representatives of 90 press agencies in Southeast Asia and 50 international press agencies to participate in the work.
The 33rd SEA Games will be officially held from December 9 to 20, 2025 in Bangkok, Chon buri and Songkhla. After that, Thailand will be the host of the 13th ASEAN para Games, held in Nakhon Ratchasima Prefecture from January 20 to January 26, 2026.
Rajamangala National Stadium (Thailand) is the venue for the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games and the finals of men's and women's football.
The Congress Press Center - MPC (Main Press Center) and IBC ( International broadcast Center) are located in Thailand National Television - NBT (National broadcasting Services of Thailand).
The Thai sports delegation aims to top the 33rd SEA Games with an expected 234 gold medals.
