Reducing the burden of state costs
The E-Sports team is expected to participate in the 33rd SEA Games with 60 members. President of the Vietnam E-Sports and Entertainment Association - Mr. Do Viet Hung once said that the team members will participate in the 33rd SEA Games with socialized funding.
This year, for the first time, the Vietnam mixed martial arts team will compete in the 33rd SEA Games when the sport is officially introduced. The Vietnam General Martial Arts Federation has completed the plan to send 9 members of the team to participate. The cost of participating in the Vietnam MMA Team also comes from socialization. In addition to the two teams mentioned above, Vietnam sports are expected to have members of the ice skating, figure skating, bowling, baseball, mountain climbing sports, teqball, tug of war and water motorbikes - jetski team participating in the 33rd SEA Games from socialized resources.
What is the value of socialization?
Sports Federations and Associations sending forces to participate in the 33rd SEA Games using the socialization model have reported to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Physical Education and Sports Administration to agree on the implementation policy.
Basically, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism supports the policy of allowing Federations and Sports Associations to send athletes and coaches to compete to improve achievements. Above all, if Sports Federations and Associations do a good job of investment management and development as well as finding sustainable resources for their national teams, the need to self-fund and participate in international arenas to improve the qualifications of athletes is suitable for the development of modern sports.
Everyone understands that when each Vietnamese athlete and coach competes in the international arena, they are the ones who represent the image of Vietnamese sports and strive to achieve the highest achievements. At that time, all attention is focused on competition results or the way of participation to have the most multi-dimensional perspectives.
Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan once expressed at the working session with leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on October 1 about reviewing the athletes participating in the 33rd SEA Games using socialized funds that Sports Federations and Associations always have careful preparation and a methodical approach to professional work. At the same time, the participation budget was mobilized in the form of socialization, clearly demonstrating the appropriate direction of saving the State budget as well as encouraging the companionship of society in sports development.
In the near future, each Sports Federation and Association in Vietnam will certainly move towards working more proactively so that their sports coaches and athletes have more opportunities to invest and compete thanks to finding social resources to accompany them.
