From May 28, the national women's team's team has been adjusted when saying goodbye to 3 athletes and welcoming 9 members of the Ho Chi Minh City women's club that has just completed its mission in the semi-finals of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League for women.
Up to this point, the list of Vietnam women's team training currently has a total of 30 athletes. The members who gathered late included coach Doan Thi Kim Chi, players Huynh Nhu, Tran Thi Thu Thao, Chuong Thi Kieu, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan, Nguyen Thi Kim Yen, Quach Thu Em and especially overseas Vietnamese midfielder Nguyen Hoang Nam Mi.
The three athletes who stopped training with the national women's team from May 28 include Ta Thi Thuy, Vu Thi Hoa (Ha Nam) and Nguyen Thi Truc Huong (Than Khoang San Viet Nam).
During the week of training from 26.5 to 1.6, the national women's team had 3 training matches with the "Green Army" arranged by the coaching staff. In the friendly match with the old General Vinh Yen in the afternoon of May 26 in Vinh Yen city, the female players won 3-2.
According to the plan, on the afternoon of May 28, the national women's team continued to have a training match with the old general of Bac Ninh at the Young Football Training Center of Vietnam. Coach Mai Duc Chung's teachers and students will have a training match against the Son Tay Youth Team before closing the 3rd practice week.
Huynh Nhu and her teammates will have 1 more week of training in Hanoi before leaving for Japan for training (from June 8 to June 18) It is expected that coach Mai Duc Chung will withdraw the list of 26 athletes participating in this training session.
