Trinh Linh Giang is a famous name in Vietnamese pickleball. He made a splash when he defeated Vanshik Kapadia 2-0 (12-10, 11-7), to win the men's singles championship of the PPA Tour pickleball tournament - Panas Malaysia Open 2025.
Ranked 2nd in the Asian men's singles with a total score of 2,200, just behind Jack Wong of Hong Kong (China), Trinh Linh Giang was advanced directly to the pro men's singles category, at PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025, taking place in Da Nang from September 30 to October 4.
On the morning of October 1, Trinh Linh Giang officially wore the uniform of the People's Police pickleball club and won 2-1 against Luc Pham in the round of 16, to qualify for the quarter-finals. Here, he will face Ly Hoang Nam on October 2.
I will try my best to compete and give all my talent to the People's Police pickleball club to achieve more achievements in the coming time, Trinh Linh Giang shared when asked about his goals when joining the club.
Recently, the People's Public Security pickleball club has also included two famous athletes in the domestic pickleball world, Le Tien Dat (Dat Tro) and Tran Ngoc Trieu (Trieu Cau Long).

Trinh Linh Giang was born in 1997, used to play professional tennis and has the highest ATP singles ranking of his career at 1,176. He won the singles at the 2021 national tennis tournament and participated in the Davis Cup many times with the Vietnamese team. He switched to playing pickleball in 2024 and quickly achieved many impressive results.
