This year's tournament takes place from February 2nd to February 14th. Two shooters who were just honored at the 2025 Victory Cup Awards, Trinh Thu Vinh and Ha Minh Thanh, were registered as 14 Vietnamese shooting players to participate.
They are ready to go to India to play this weekend.
In addition to the above 2 shooters, the Vietnamese shooting team also has faces coming to India to compete including: Pham Quang Huy, Vu Tien Nam, Phan Cong Minh, Tran Cong Hieu, Lai Cong Minh, Nguyen Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Tam Quang, Phi Thanh Thao, Trieu Thi Hoa Hong, Nguyen Thuy Trang, Nguyen Thuy Dung, Le Thi Mong Tuyen.
The Vietnamese shooting team aims to achieve the best results in India. Last year, Vietnamese shooters won 3 gold medals in the above tournament.
The 2026 Asian Handgun and Rifle Championship is the first international competition program of Vietnamese shooters this year.
Sharing on the evening of January 29 when receiving the title of Best Female Athlete of the 2025 Victory Cup, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh said that she is focusing on professional preparation and striving to compete for high achievements this year.
Meanwhile, the best male athlete of the 2025 Victory Cup, Ha Minh Thanh, also affirmed that he will focus on maintaining his form for international tasks in 2026.
