The 9th Pencak Silat Asian Championship in 2025 will be held in Ha Tinh from July 24 to 30 with the participation of athletes from 10 countries in Asia including: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The teams competed in 32 events corresponding to 32 sets of medals, divided into two groups: Tanding and performance (seni).
The competition group includes 24 events corresponding to 24 weight categories, including 13 men's weight categories and 11 women's weight categories.
The performance rights section has 8 contents including: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's teamwork, women's teamwork, men's creativity, women's creativity.

In the final result, the Vietnamese athlete delegation ranked first with a total of 17 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.
Second place is the Malaysian athletics delegation with a total of 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals.
Ranked 3rd is the Indonesian athletics delegation with 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 2 bronze medals.
The next order is Singapo, Philippines, Thailand, Inner Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Laos.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Duong Tat Thang - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, Head of the tournament organizing committee affirmed: After days of exciting and dramatic competition, with a spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility, the 2025 Pencak Silat Asian tournament held in Ha Tinh province has officially ended and had a great success.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province said that the tournament is not only a top competition venue for Pencak Silat athletes, but also an opportunity to strengthen friendship and promote cultural and sports exchange between countries in the region and the world.
