The Vietnamese jujitsu team arrived in Thailand on November 1, entering the 2025 World Championship. The coaching staff of the Vietnam jujitsu Team registered 24 players, in which player Dao Hong Son is expected to achieve the highest results.
Currently, the Vietnam jujitsu Team is preparing professionally for the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, the World Championship program is an opportunity for athletes to accumulate expertise.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, boxer Dao Hong Son has won gold medals at the 2025 Asian jujitsu Championship and the 2025 Southeast Asian jujitsu Championship.
The 2025 World Championship will organize competitions for Ne waza, Fighting and Duo shows. The coaching staff of the Vietnam jujitsu team said that the tournament will attract about 58 countries and territories around the world to send fighters to compete.
The jujitsu sport is included in the 33rd SEA Games program. It is expected that the venue for the 2025 World Championship will also be the venue for the competition in jujitsu at the 33rd SEA Games.
Currently, Dao Hong Son is the Vietnamese jujitsu player with the best record in the SEA Games when he won gold medals consecutively at the 31st and 32nd SEA Games.
Dao Hong Son's school is a men's 56kg weight class. Before going to Thailand, the Vietnam jujitsu Team was trained in Quang Ninh.
