The 2026 Asian Jujitsu Championship closed on July 19th Vietnam time.
On the final day of competition held in Kazakhstan, the martial artists made efforts to compete to compete for their medals.
At the end of the events, the Vietnamese jujitsu team completed the task with 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.
The result helped us rank second overall in the medal standings.
6 championships of the Vietnamese jujitsu team in the tournament were successively brought back from the results of martial artists Tran Thi Thanh Ha (52kg female), Ha Thi Anh Uyen (57kg female), Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (over 70kg female), Phung Thi Hue (45kg female) and Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (over 70kg female Fighting), Phung Thi Hue (45kg female Fighting).
In this year's tournament, Vietnamese male fighters did not win a gold medal.
At the tournament, 2 martial artists noticed by Vietnamese jujitsu fans, Dao Hong Son and Lo Thi Phung, competed in their events but did not win a gold medal. In addition, the player who won a gold medal at SEA Games 33, Dang Dinh Tung, did not win a gold medal at the 2026 Asian Championships.
On the overall medal standings, the Organizing Committee said that 20 teams won medals.
In which, the Kazakhstan team held the first place with 9 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 18 bronze medals.
The third place is the UAE team (5 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 4 bronze medals).
