This year, Vietnam is the host of the 2026 Southeast Asian pencak silat Championship, so the whole team sets a goal to strive for the highest ranking at home.
The whole team has trained and prepared professionally thoroughly in the past time and the coaching staff registered 37 martial artists to participate in events for combat and performance.
According to the plan, the competition program will take place from September 22 to September 29.

The 2026 Southeast Asian pencak silat Championship will organize 8 performance events (4 for men and 4 for women).
There are 13 men's sparring events, including 11 main weight classes and 2 open weight classes (Open 1, Open 2).
The Open 1 men's open event will be for athletes from 95kg to under 100kg. The Open 2 men's open event is for over 100kg.
The women's sparring program has 11 weight classes (9 official events, 2 open events).
The Open 1 women's open event will be for the weight class from 85 to 100kg, the Open 2 event is for athletes over 100kg.
In July this year in Dong Nai City, Vietnam hosted the 2026 Asian pencak silat Championship and ranked first overall with 16 championships.
