According to a representative of the Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), as of August 27 - at the pilot gas stations, customers are familiar with the new product, E10 RON95 gasoline.
"The number of customers buying this item remains stable as when buying E5 RON92 gasoline. From August 1 to August 27, 2025, the sales of E10 gasoline at PVOIL Hanoi and PVOIL Hai Phong gas stations both recorded a rate of 15% compared to the total gasoline sales" - PVOIL informed.
Following the pilot program of producing and distributing E10 RON95 gasoline in Hanoi and Hai Phong, PVOIL has completed procedures to mix and distribute E10 RON95 gasoline in the Central region.
E10 RON95 gasoline blending is carried out at Dung Quat Petroleum Depot - PVOIL Quang Ngai. This is a strategic petroleum warehouse, directly connected to the export system of Dung Quat Oil Refinery, the E10 RON95 petroleum mixing system synchronized with modern technology, the processing capacity reaches more than 15,000 m3/month. E10 RON95 gasoline products produced at PVOIL Quang Ngai will be distributed to customers and retail investors in the Central region.
From August 28, 2025, PVOIL Trung Mien officially sold E10 RON95 gasoline at 2 gas stations in Da Nang City and 3 gas stations in Quang Ngai Province.
As the demand for E10 gasoline increases in the Central region, PVOIL also has a gasoline warehouse to mix E10 gasoline in Lien Chieu - Da Nang, Chan May - Thua Thien Hue and Vung Ro - Dak Lak; ensuring adequate supply of E10 gasoline to customers in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
According to a representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), the unit currently sells E10 gasoline at 36 gas stations in Ho Chi Minh City. On average, the unit consumes about 40m3 of E10 gasoline per day, double the initial implementation period. By August 31, Petrolimex had consumed nearly 1,500m3. However, the amount of E10 gasoline consumed is only equivalent to 1/10 of RON95 gasoline.
According to a survey by Lao Dong, at PVOIL, the price of E10 RON95-III gasoline is VND 20,080/liter. E10 RON95-III gasoline price in the operating session on August 28 increased by VND240/liter compared to the adjustment session on August 21.
At the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), the price of E10 RON95-III gasoline in region 1 is priced at VND 20,080/liter. E10 RON95-III gasoline price in region 2 is 20,480 VND/liter.
