Major coffee-producing countries such as Brazil, Colombia and Indonesia are struggling due to adverse weather conditions and rising production costs.
Lower harvests and lower exports could put downward pressure on global supplies.
According to the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), Vietnam's coffee harvest season is mainly from early November to late December. This is the time when most countries have no harvest or very little yield. This is also a great opportunity to attract world customers to choose Vietnamese Robusta coffee.
Although Vietnam's main crop production will increase and prices may fluctuate, Vietnamese coffee has certain advantages to expect better prices than previous years.
