In particular, a series of localities have had live pig prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hung Yen (at 54,000 VND/kg, equal to the price of Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen), Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho (at 53,000 VND/kg, equal to the price of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Dien Bien) and Son La (at 52,000 VND/kg, equal to Lai Chau).
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today ranges from 50,000 - 53,000 VND/kg. In particular, some localities have decreased by VND 1,000/kg such as: Dak Lak, Quang Ngai (to VND 50,000/kg, equal to Gia Lai), Hue, Lam Dong (to VND 51,000/kg, equal to Quang Tri, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa). Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are the two provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 53,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today ranges from 51,000 - 53,000 VND/kg. In particular, some localities have decreased by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho (to the price of 51,000 VND/kg), Vinh Long (to the price of 50,000 VND/kg).
