In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today turned to increase by 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces and cities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho Hung Yen. Of which, Hanoi and Hung Yen have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 63,000 VND/kg. Most of the northern provinces and cities today have live pig prices ranging from 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, the price of live pigs increased by 1,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong is the area with the highest price of live pigs in the Central region at 63,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Quang Tri and Gia Lai have the lowest price of live pigs in the region and the whole country at 58,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs still tends to decrease. Of which, An Giang and Vinh Long decreased by VND 1,000/kg to VND 61,000/kg while Ca Mau decreased by VND 2,000/kg to VND 62,000/kg. Tay Ninh is the province with the highest price of live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg - this is also the highest price in the country.
