In the Northern region, the price of live pigs this morning decreased by VND 1,000/kg in Ninh Binh and Phu Tho, down to VND 50,000/kg. Bac Ninh recorded the highest level in the region (51,000 VND/kg), while Lai Chau was still at the lowest level (49,000 VND/kg). The remaining localities remain stable around 50,000 VND/kg.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs decreased slightly by VND 1,000/kg in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An (VND 49,000/kg) and Ha Tinh (VND 48,000/kg). Other localities such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai and Khanh Hoa maintain around 50,000 VND/kg. Gia Lai and Dak Lak are still at the lowest level at 48,000 VND/kg.
The Southern region continues to be stable in the range of 48,000 - 51,000 VND/kg. Specifically, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang and Dong Thap all recorded 50,000 VND/kg. Tay Ninh and Ca Mau maintained the highest level of 51,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Long maintained the lowest level of 48,000 VND/kg.
