In the Northern region, Hai Phong continues to be the only locality with live pig prices reaching 51,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. On the other hand, the lowest in the region was 49,000 VND/kg recorded in Lai Chau. The remaining provinces and cities all have prices of 50,000 VND/kg.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, the average price of live pigs is purchased at less than 50,000 VND/kg. Specifically, the three provinces of Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak have the lowest prices in the region at 48,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities maintain the level of 49,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, Tay Ninh and Ca Mau are the two localities with the highest price of live pigs in the region, reaching 51,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai, Dong Thap, An Giang localities and Ho Chi Minh City all recorded prices of 50,000 VND/kg. Can Tho and Vinh Long are 49,000 VND/kg and 48,000 VND/kg respectively.
