Assessment and forecast
After a period of strong increase in the first half of October, pepper prices are entering an adjustment phase, when the amount of goods put on the market is greater. According to traders, supply returning to the market has shown signs of "lowing down", although the decrease is still within a narrow range.
However, the medium-term trend is still assessed as positive. People's inventories are not abundant, while import demand from the US, India and China is forecast to increase sharply by the end of the year. Experts say that if supply continues to tighten, pepper prices can completely recover to the highlands in the fourth quarter of 2025.
