The authorities have just discovered and temporarily detained a large quantity of sock jars, raw materials, and means to produce sock jars with signs of counterfeiting famous brands.
Accordingly, on December 9, 2025, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team 389 of An Khanh Commune (Hanoi City) including Market Management Team No. 24, An Khanh Commune Police and An Khanh Commune Economic Department inspected Phu Cuong Thinh Knitting Joint Stock Company, located at No. 20, Lane 204, Chua Tong Village, An Khanh Commune, Hanoi City.
The company is directed by Ms. N.T.H. At the time of the inspection, Ms. H was working outside the province so she was not present to work. On behalf of the enterprise, Mr. N.P.H (Ms. H's husband), who directly manages and operates the production and business activities of the company, worked with the Inspection Team.
Mr. H presented the Business Registration Certificate No. 0109804xxx, first registered on November 4, 2021, issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment. According to the registration, the company's head office is at No. 07, Lane 202 Chua Tong Village, La Phu Commune, Hoai Duc District, Hanoi City (now An Khanh Commune, Hanoi City).
However, Mr. N.P.H has not yet presented the Business Lieutenant of Phu Cuong Thinh Knitting Joint Stock Company at address No. 20, Lane 204, Chua Tong Village, An Khanh Commune - where the Inspection Team is conducting an on-site inspection.
The inspection process showed that at the facility, there were some goods that were sock household appliances during the production process with signs of counterfeiting the brands "PUMA", "TOMMY HILFIGER" and "YONEX". The inspection team reported to the leaders and temporarily detained and sealed all related goods, machinery and labels for verification, clarification and handling according to regulations.
Accordingly, the goods temporarily detained include: 4,250 pairs of socks with the shape and label "PUMA", listed price 3,000 VND/pair; 4,500 pairs of socks with the shape and label "TOMMY HILFIGER", listed price 3,000 VND/pair; 4,250 pairs of socks with the shape and label "YONEX", listed price 3,000 VND/pair. The total value of the goods according to the listed price is 39,000,000 VND.
In addition, the Inspection Team temporarily detained raw materials and means for the production of sock caps with fake image and letter labels, including: 01 round needle weaving machine used to weave socks, TK 620XL model; 2,000 YONEX brand labels; 4,400 TOMMY HILFIGER brand labels; 3,600 PUMA brand labels.
The case is being further verified and clarified by the authorities to be handled according to the provisions of law
