On July 23, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to present the President's Decision to officers performing United Nations peacekeeping missions (UN peacekeeping missions) at the MINUSCA Delegation, Central African Republic in 2025.
Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Steering Committee for the Vietnam People's Public Security Project (CAND) participating in the activities of the National Assembly Delegation (Project 05) chaired the Ceremony.
MINUSCA mission in the Central African Republic is one of the Armed Ministries of the United Nations.The deployment of Working Group No. 6 to MINUSCA mission is the first time the Ministry of Public Security has deployed the Border Guard force to perform tasks at the Armed Ministry, contributing to affirming the capacity of the Vietnam People's Public Security force in the operation of the Border Guard Agency; at the same time, drawing the necessary knowledge and experience for the preparation and deployment of Border Guard Unit No. 1 on the field.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the President's Decisions on the assignment of 6 officers of the Ministry of Public Security to participate in the National Defense Expedition at the MINUSCA mission; extending the working time for officers of Working Group No. 3 performing duties at the UNISFA mission, Abyei and Working Group No. 4 performing duties at the UNMISS mission, South Sudan Republic.
Authorized by the President, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung presented the Decision to the officers of Working Group No. 6 to perform their duties at the MINUSCA mission.
6 officers sent to perform tasks at the MINUSCA mission this time include Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quyen Chinh, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Thi Hien, Major Pham Minh Dat, Major To Ngoc Anh, Captain Bui Thi Dang Ha and Captain Bui Manh Tien.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested the 6 officers deployed to perform the GGHB task this time to maintain political courage, exemplary qualities, and sense of responsibility; promote their abilities, qualifications, experience, and skills well, grasp the local situation soon, and work with the delegation to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Proactively overcome difficulties, challenges, and harshness of weather, epidemics, political instability, and potential risks to security and safety during the performance of tasks; maintain information, reporting, receiving instructions and direction from the country during the performance of tasks; unite and coordinate effectively with the officers of the Vietnam People's Army performing their duties at the MINUSCA mission.
On behalf of Working Group No. 6, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quyen Chinh affirmed that the members of the working group will quickly adapt to working conditions and circumstances, strive to overcome difficulties, complete all tasks assigned by the Central Committee, contributing to the excellent completion of the political tasks that the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security trust and assign.
