On the afternoon of April 23, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command held a conference to hand over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
The conference was co-chaired by Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 4 and Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee.
According to the decisions of the Minister of National Defense, Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Commander of Hue City Military Command; Colonel Le Hong Viet held the position of Political Commissar of Hue City Military Command.
Colonel Phan Thang was appointed as Commander of Quang Tri Provincial Military Command; Colonel Truong Viet Hai held the position of Political Commissar of Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.
The Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to appoint Colonel Truong Viet Hai to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; appointed Colonel Phan Thang to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
At the conference, the comrades handed over their responsibilities and tasks according to regulations. Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa handed over the position of Commander of Quang Tri Provincial Military Command to Colonel Phan Thang; Colonel Le Hong Viet handed over the position of Political Commissar of Quang Tri Provincial Military Command to Colonel Truong Viet Hai.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong acknowledged and praised the contributions of the provincial armed forces in performing national defense and local military tasks; requested officials in new positions to continue to promote their capacity and experience, and successfully complete their tasks.
Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh congratulated the cadres who were transferred and appointed; and at the same time requested to quickly grasp the situation, improve the quality of training, combat readiness, and build a comprehensively strong armed force.
