Commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), on February 3, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu met with 96 outstanding Party cell secretaries throughout the Party in 2026.
Attending the meeting were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet; Chief of the Central Party Office Pham Gia Tuc.
Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat affirmed that this is an opportunity to recognize and commend typical and outstanding Party cell secretaries representing more than 200,000 Party cell secretaries nationwide.
That is the image of Party cell secretaries in residential areas, villages, hamlets, residential groups close to the people, close to the people, firmly grasping every alley, every house; accompanying the people in economic development, preserving cultural lifestyles, promptly solving problems arising from the grassroots level; wholeheartedly caring for and supporting the people when encountering natural disasters, epidemics, difficulties, and hardships.
They are Party cell secretaries in agencies, public service units, schools, medical facilities, culture - society, exemplary, proactive, and drastic in leading and directing the implementation of major Party policies, especially the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational structure, ensuring the smooth, continuous, and effective operation of agencies and units...

From now to 2030 is a particularly important period to realize strategic development goals towards celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding in 2030 and the 100th anniversary of the country's founding in 2045.
Emphasizing this content, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested Party cell secretaries to study, implement and answer three big questions: How to improve the quality of Party cell activities? How to improve the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization at the grassroots level? How to consolidate and strengthen the people's trust in the Party?
Suggesting key contents, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested Party cell secretaries to focus on effectively implementing task groups.
According to the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, in the conditions of organizing and operating local government according to the new model, Party cell secretaries must not only thoroughly grasp policies and guidelines but also directly lead, organize implementation as well as solve new problems arising right at the grassroots level; proactively innovate thinking and leadership methods.
Participate and contribute ideas to solve bottlenecks in institutions, organizational structure and improve the quality of staff; strengthen discipline and order, proactively prevent and fight to prevent degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" right at the grassroots level.
The Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized the requirement to strictly implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building digital government, digital society, and digital citizens.
Party cell secretaries must be pioneers in digital transformation at the grassroots level; proactively apply information technology suitable for each type of Party cell; be exemplary in digitization, work management, and use of electronic Party member handbooks; promote digital platforms to receive and listen to feedback from Party members and people in a timely, democratic and transparent manner.
