On July 15, the 17th Hanoi City Party Committee held the 23rd Conference to discuss and approve many important contents.
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that after 1/2 working day with a spirit of urgency, seriousness, and high responsibility, the 23rd City Party Executive Committee Conference has completed all the contents and programs set out.
Regarding the direction of personnel work and delegation allocation to the 18th City Party Congress, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that the City Party Committee Executive Committee discussed and highly agreed on the direction of personnel work and the project to allocate delegates to the 18th City Party Congress.
The conference highly agreed on the need to amend and supplement the Working Regulations of the City Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee to promptly institutionalize new policies and resolutions of the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat.
Regarding the Working Regulations of the City Party Committee Inspection Committee, the content of this amendment continues to clearly affirm the role, position and functions of inspection committees at all levels, closely following the new contents according to the instructions of the Central Inspection Committee.

Regarding the adjustment of the inspection and supervision plan for 2025, the Conference reached a high level of consensus on the need to adjust the inspection and supervision plan for 2025 to suit the context of the city performing many key tasks.
Regarding the socio-economic development, security - defense in the first 6 months of the year, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, the city has made great efforts and achieved many positive results in all fields.
Hanoi City has completed the rearrangement of administrative units according to the 2-level local government model, and has now basically come into stable operation, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service to the people.
Cadres and civil servants must be truly close to the people
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized that the remaining tasks for the last 6 months of the year are extremely heavy, the city must both complete the tasks of 2025 and the targets of the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee requested the City People's Committee to focus on directing a number of key contents to effectively operate the two-level local government model, especially at the commune level; review and perfect regulations on decentralization and delegation of power in accordance with the two-level local government model.
At the same time, the City People's Committee issued a specific list of tasks and administrative procedures that are decentralized to the commune level; ensuring unified implementation throughout the city.
Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that Hanoi city is honored and proud to be the venue for the parade, parade and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
