District Secretary becomes Director of Yen Bai Department of Education and Training

On the morning of January 21, the People's Committee of Yen Bai province announced the decision to transfer and appoint the new Director of the Department of Education and Training (DET).

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision of the Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Luyen Huu Chung, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Van Yen District, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training. The term of appointment is 5 years, starting from January 20, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, affirmed: Mr. Luyen Huu Chung is an official who has held many important positions, including a long time working in the education sector.

With rich practical experience, Mr. Chung is expected to promote his capacity and create breakthroughs for the provincial education and training sector.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh hopes that, in his new position, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung will quickly get to work, utilize his personal capacity, and together with the leadership team and staff, continue to promote the achieved results.

The new Director of the Department of Education and Training, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung, was born in 1970 in Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province, and comes from the education sector. Before taking up the position of Secretary of the Van Yen District Party Committee in October 2019, he held the position of Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Education and Training.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung pledged to be a pioneer, exemplary, and dedicated to working with the leadership and staff of the education sector to promote solidarity, continue to innovate, and improve the quality of comprehensive education for Yen Bai province.
