On January 7, according to information from the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, the unit has just issued Decision No. 186-QD/TU on the establishment of the Lang Son Provincial Agricultural Development Steering Committee.
According to the decision, the Head of the Steering Committee is Comrade Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee. The Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is Comrade Luong Trong Quynh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. The Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is Comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Members of the Steering Committee include: Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Directors of Departments: Agriculture and Environment, Finance, Science and Technology, Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs; Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province.
Regarding tasks, the Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 related to agricultural development; organizing the implementation of resolutions, projects, schemes, and thematic conclusions of the Central Government and the province on Lang Son agricultural development to 2030.
The Steering Committee also directs, guides, urges, and inspects communes, wards and agencies and units in developing and implementing plans, programs, projects, schemes, and policies for agricultural development.
Organize inspection, examination, and supervision of the process of task implementation; monitor, summarize, preliminary review, and summarize the implementation of resolutions and projects, and report to the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The Steering Committee shall perform other tasks according to the assignment and direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Regarding implementation organization, the Steering Committee works under a cumulative regime; the Department of Agriculture and Environment is the standing agency. The Head of the Steering Committee, Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee and Heads of the standing agency use the seal of the agency in charge to perform assigned tasks.
