At the conference, Mr. Mai Viet Trung - Head of the Organization Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee - announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on organization and personnel work. The decisions take effect from June 10.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to merge Binh Dinh Newspaper, Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station and the Provincial Party Committee's Electronic Information Page into a single press agency named Binh Dinh Newspaper (new).
Mr. Ho Xuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper - was transferred and assigned to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper (new).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Suong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper (old); along with Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong and Ms. Vu Thi Nga - Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station - were appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper (new).
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Phuong Nhan - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office - to hold the position of Provincial Party Committee Secretary, from June 2.
Speaking at the conference, Binh Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that the merger of 3 agencies into the new Binh Dinh Newspaper aims to implement the Party's major policy, towards streamlining and innovating the organizational apparatus. This is an important step to prepare for the merger of press agencies of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces.
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung requested the Editorial Board of the (new) Binh Dinh Newspaper to actively grasp information, promptly propagate the work of arranging administrative units, merging provinces, Party congresses at the provincial, commune and ward levels, along with the local socio-economic development situation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Xuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper - expressed his honor at being trusted by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and assigned great responsibility. He pledged to work with the Editorial Board to innovate and create, building the (new) Binh Dinh Newspaper to develop strongly, playing the role of the main press agency of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper also hopes to continue to receive the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and the support of agencies and units in the province to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
