The Politburo supplements regulations on disciplinary action related to waste

The Politburo decided to amend and supplement a number of articles in Regulation No. 69 on disciplining party organizations and party members who violate and are involved in "wasteful" acts.

On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu has just signed and issued Regulation No. 264-QD/TW on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Regulation No. 69-QD/TW, dated July 6, 2022 of the Politburo on disciplining party organizations and party members who violate.

According to Regulation No. 264-QD/TW, the Politburo decided to amend and supplement a number of articles in Regulation No. 69.

Accordingly, amend and supplement Point e, Clause 1, Article 6 (Condition for intensifying disciplinary action - named Article 6) to: "Knowing without preventing or allowing cadres and party members under their direct management to commit corruption, waste, and negative consequences causing serious consequences".

Thus, the new regulation adds the word "waste".

Similarly, Regulation No. 264 also amends and adds the word "waste" to many regulations.

At point e, Clause 2, Article 11 (Violating the organization, cadres and work of party members - name of Article 11) becomes "covering, not handling, not handling in accordance with regulations or not recommending handling party members who have committed acts of running for office, running for office, corruption, waste, negativity, using illegally issued issued certificates, certificates, and confirmations".

The name Article 17, from "Violating regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negativity", was amended and supplemented to "Violating regulations on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity". Thus, the new regulation has added the word "waste".

Point b, c, Clause 1, Article 17 is also amended and supplemented to b, not to lead, direct, urge, inspect, supervise subordinate party organizations and cadres and party members to implement Party regulations and State laws on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity according to regulations;

"c, loosening leadership and management; lacking inspection and supervision to promptly detect and handle corruption, waste and negativity in party organizations, agencies and units".

The regulation also states the amendment and supplementation of Points a, b, c, d, dd, Clause 2, Article 17.

Accordingly: "a, not to handle, cover up, condone corrupt, wasteful, negative organizations and individuals and violate regulations on declaration, disclosure, control of assets and income".

"b, issue resolutions, directives, and regulations at their level on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity contrary to the Party's policies and regulations and the State's laws".

"c, do not handle corruption, waste, or negative behavior in agencies, units, and localities directly managed".

"d, not leading, directing or obstructing the recovery of corrupt, wasteful, or negative money and assets".

"e., direct only internal handling or administrative handling of corrupt, wasteful, negative individuals with signs of crime".

Regulation No. 264-QD/TW also refers to the content, amendment and supplementation of Article 39 as follows: "Article 39. Violating regulations on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity".

The regulation also amends and supplements Point c, Clause 1, Article 39 as follows: "c) Loosening leadership and management leading to corruption, waste and negativity in agencies, units and organizations under their direct management without proactively handling them".
