After 4 raising the salary, the food salary received is still lower than the regional minimum wage prescribed by the Government.
"So what guidelines or policies are there to adjust and ensure income for this group?" - Ms. Minh wondered.
Regarding the above issue, the Department of Salary and Social Insurance, Ministry of Home Affairs responded on the Electronic Information Portal.
Article 8 of Decree No. 111/2022 dated December 30, 2022 of the Government stipulates contracts for a number of types of work in administrative agencies and public service units, in which Point a, Clause 2 of this Article stipulates: Employees doing support and service work as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 4 of this Decree are entitled to receive salaries and other benefits as agreed in the labor contract.

Accordingly, the regime and policies for people working under labor contracts have been prescribed by law.
