The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a document responding to the petition of voters in Nghe An province sent before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, voters of Nghe An province recommended that the Ministry of Home Affairs study and submit to the Government to pay attention to the regime, policies and create suitable jobs for part-time workers at the commune level after implementing the policy of ending the use of this subject.
Regarding the above content, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that, implementing Conclusion No. 163-KL/TW dated June 6, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat, which requires "study a roadmap to extend the use of part-time workers in accordance with the time of rearranging villages and residential groups, the Steering Committee for the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model of the Government has issued Document No. 12/CV-BCD dated June 20, 2025 guiding a number of contents for part-time workers at the commune level when implementing the 2-level local government model.
Accordingly, Document No. 12 clearly stated the temporary extension of use and the regimes and policies for part-time workers at the commune level to continue to enjoy according to the Resolutions of the People's Councils at the previous provincial level until before May 31, 2026.
During this period, if part-time workers at the commune level quit their jobs, they will enjoy the regime and policies according to the provisions of Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP dated June 15, 2025 of the Government regulating the policy of streamlining the payroll.
