Next to it is a sharp line: "The Vietnamese people will forever remember the gratitude of the soldiers who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and the friendship between nations, vowing to study hard and promote the courageous tradition of the martyrs: Firmly advancing along the glorious flag of socialism and communism".

The memorial stele is located in the Vietnam - China People's Friendship Park in Dongxing City, with an area of more than 10 acres (equivalent to about 6,700m2), built to commemorate revolutionary martyrs of Vietnam and China who bravely sacrificed themselves in the common struggle against colonialism.
On the front of the East and West sides of the memorial stele are engraved the names of 9 martyrs on the Vietnamese side and 23 martyrs on the Chinese side. The back of the stele introduces the context of the two countries fighting together, praising the friendship between the people of the two countries.
Visiting the "Ho Chi Minh Trail on the Sea" Relic Site
Also within the framework of the Exchange, General Phan Van Giang and Senior Lieutenant General Dong Quan and delegations from the two countries visited the "Ho Chi Minh Trail on the Sea" relic site at Fangcheng tourist port, Guangxi.
Here, the 2 Ministers visited the Relic Site and the wall displaying some content related to the Ho Chi Minh Trail on the sea.

In March 1968, approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Fangchenggang started building a port to ensure combat, codenamed "Guangxi 322 Project", opening up a secret sea transport route 35 nautical miles long, breaking the US military's sea blockade against Vietnam, supporting Vietnam's resistance against the US, and saving the country.

In the period 1972 - 1973, this transport route transported a total of 161,800 tons of aid materials for the Vietnamese revolution, with more than 1,000 ships and boats. This was considered a lifeline at sea during the anti-American resistance war for national salvation of Vietnam and was called "Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea" by Vietnam.
Also within the framework of the Exchange, General Phan Van Giang and Senior Lieutenant General Dong Quan and the delegations of the two countries visited the Phòng Thành Cảng International Open Medical Pilot Area, China.
