On the morning of September 30, the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held an official session. President Luong Cuong attended and directed the Congress.
Speaking at the Congress, Chairman Luong Cuong highly appreciated and congratulated the important achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province in the recent term.
To realize the goal of Phu Tho becoming an industrial, commercial, logistics, tourism, education and training center of the region by 2030; by 2045, becoming a centrally-governed city, President Luong Cuong proposed that the Congress focus on discussing and resolving, and the Executive Committee of the first term lead and direct the organization to resolutely implement many important contents.
In particular, Chairman Luong Cuong suggested that the Provincial Party Committee should maintain and strengthen solidarity and high unity in awareness and action, first of all within the Party Committee and the Standing Committee. Continue to focus on leading and directing the organization of Party building and rectification and the political system to be truly clean, strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres.
The President stated that Phu Tho currently has a huge workload, with high expectations from the Party, State and People. Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee needs to maintain and strengthen solidarity and high unity in awareness and action, first of all within the Party Committee and the Standing Committee. Continue to focus on leading and directing the organization of Party building and rectification and the political system to be truly clean, strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization in the Provincial Party Committee; Linking the quality of the cadres with the cadres; the cadres in charge, especially the head and the committee members; must well implement the resolutions and conclusions of the 11th, 12th and 13th World Conference on Party building and rectification in conjunction with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
"It is necessary to build a truly streamlined, effective, efficient, close-to-people, two-level local government. When the three-level local government ends after 80 years, to implement the two-level local government (3 months); over 99% of the people agree, are excited and excited; 100% of party members agree, now we must do it; how can the new apparatus be better and more efficient than the old one? The measure is the satisfaction of the people; during the implementation process, there will be problems and difficulties, which need to be grasped, to have solutions to overcome and handle" - the President gave a speech.
Regarding information and propaganda work, the President requested Phu Tho to effectively, correctly and promptly implement, create high consensus, first of all within the Party, within the political apparatus and in society, consolidate the great national unity bloc, the will of "self-reliance, confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride", the spirit of innovation so that the entire political system, all levels, sectors and all people can join hands and unanimously build Phu Tho province to develop rapidly and sustainably, all people have a prosperous, free and happy life.
The President also suggested that the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee focus on effectively implementing the core contents of the three strategic breakthroughs; continue to focus on leadership and direction to maintain political and social stability, closely and harmoniously link economic, cultural and social development, environmental protection with strengthening national defense and security, improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs activities and international integration.
