On April 17, in Hanoi, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet worked with key national press agencies: Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Review, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency.

According to VNA, concluding the working session, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet stated clearly that in the first quarter of 2026, key national press agencies have very well completed political tasks with core functions in political, ideological, and communication work, especially policy communication, Party viewpoints and guidelines, especially major events of the country.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of key national press agencies, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet proposed that 5 agencies base on unit prices and economic - technical norms in the field of journalism, especially journalism on digital platforms, to proactively build budget estimates.

This needs to be done methodically, in accordance with regulations, and at the same time soon have a written proposal to the Ministry of Finance and the Government to ensure resources for implementation.

Regarding the issue of streamlining, organizational structure and personnel, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of streamlining, operating effectively, efficiently, and efficiently. News agencies and newspapers continue to consider in the process of rearranging functions, tasks, and organizational structure, if there are still bulky internal areas, continue to remove them, clearly define responsibilities so that the apparatus operates smoothly, without overlapping functions and tasks.

But streamlining must still ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency. But if streamlining is mechanically cut so that there is a task but no one does it, it is not acceptable," the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission noted.

Information must contribute to creating development, not just reflecting...
