In the afternoon of March 4, at the Government Headquarters, Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 26 of the Politburo, Secretariat organized a Conference to announce the decision to inspect and supervise 2026 for the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee.
Attending the conference were Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Head of the inspection and supervision delegation, attending the conference.
At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 26 announce the decision to establish the Inspection and Supervision Delegation of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2026 for the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee; the inspection and supervision plan of the delegation for the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee.
The delegation has the task of supervising the leadership, direction, organization of research, study, thorough grasp, propaganda and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; the leadership, direction, organization of implementation of Directive No. 01-CT/TW, dated January 23, 2026 of the Politburo on research, study, thorough grasp, propaganda and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; Directive No. 46-CT/TW, dated May 16, 2025 of the Politburo on leading the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Inspect the organization and operation of agencies and units in localities after operating the local government at 2 levels; tasks and solutions to ensure the implementation of the goal of average gross domestic product growth in the period 2026-2030 from 10% or more according to the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress;
The leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and related documents.
Thoroughly grasping the content of inspection and supervision, Head of the inspection team Nguyen Thanh Nghi clearly stated that inspection and supervision is a regular activity to accurately and truthfully assess the situation, identify advantages, good and creative ways of doing things to continue to promote; point out limitations and shortcomings to promptly have solutions to overcome, and at the same time record difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing and implementing the Party's guidelines and policies.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested members of the delegation, the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee and relevant agencies to work in a spirit of urgency, seriousness, objectivity, in accordance with Party regulations, closely and effectively coordinate, without causing disruption or affecting the performance of regular tasks of agencies and units.
At the same time, provide complete information and documents to ensure that the inspection takes place smoothly, on schedule, and meets the set goals and requirements.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee will strictly implement the guidelines, plans, and inspection contents according to the Inspection and Supervision Decisions of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the requirements of the inspection team.
The Prime Minister requested the agencies of the Government Party Committee to provide truthful and objective reports, documents, and data and fully absorb the comments of the inspection and supervision delegation in a spirit of receptiveness to continue to overcome, improve, and enhance the quality of task implementation in all aspects of work in the coming time.
