On July 29, information from the Government Inspectorate said that according to Decision No. 685/QD-TTCP dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate General, the inspection team of the Government Inspectorate will conduct an inspection of projects with difficulties and problems; inspect and prevent waste in the management and use of houses and land of agencies, organizations and State-owned enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
The inspection period, for the inspection content of projects with difficulties and problems, is from the implementation of works and projects to July 1, 2025.
Regarding the content of inspection of waste prevention and control in the management and use of houses and land of agencies, organizations and state-owned enterprises, the inspection period is from January 1, 2019 to July 1, 2025.
If necessary, content related to before or after the above inspection period can be considered.
The inspection period is 45 working days from the date of announcement of the inspection decision for the inspection content of projects with difficulties and problems. For the content of inspection to prevent and combat waste in the management and use of real estate facilities of agencies, organizations and state-owned enterprises, the inspection period is 60 working days, from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - said that after receiving the inspection decision, the city leaders directed relevant departments, branches and units to prepare documents, records and reports to provide to the inspection team.
Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay said that the inspection aims to implement the Prime Minister's conclusion at the conference on July 17, 2025 and the Government Inspectorate's plan to inspect projects with difficulties and problems.
Deputy Inspector General Le Sy Bay requested the inspection team and the monitoring team to properly implement the approved content, authority, scope of inspection and be responsible to the leaders of the Government Inspectorate and the provisions of law.
The implementation of tasks must ensure the correct purpose and requirements of the inspection plan; objective, transparent, clear and correct conclusions.
The Deputy Inspector General also noted that the inspection team should manage records, documents, and information in accordance with regulations; strictly comply with regulations, discipline, and information confidentiality throughout the inspection process.
