2-level local government model, close to the people, close to the people
On October 20, in Hanoi, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - reported a number of key contents synthesizing the opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Mr. Do Van Chien said that the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received 114 reports with 2403 comments from voters and people sent to the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Voters and people are happy and highly appreciate the results of the revolution of reorganizing the apparatus according to the model of a two-level local government, close to the people, proactively serving the people.
After more than 3 months of operation, the commune level has been decentralized, delegated authority, and resolved administrative procedures and people's work better.
Voters and people are happy and excited, along with striving to exceed the 15/15 targets in 2025. In addition, agreeing and believing that the fight against corruption, waste and negativity will continue to be vigorously implemented, achieving many very important results, both in preventing and combating corruption and in preventing waste and negativity.
At the same time, voters and people acknowledge that the Party and State have focused on leading and directing ministries, branches and localities to consider and resolve petitions from voters and people sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly such as: reviewing and handling works and projects with prolonged delays, risks of loss and waste; conducting inspections, investigations, and clarifying a number of outstanding cases that voters and people are interested in.
Hope for solutions to flooding and traffic jams
In addition to recognizing the achieved results, according to the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, voters and people are also concerned and worried about the US tariff policy, although there have been adjustments, there are still great risks for Vietnam's key export industries;
Concerns about the impact of global inflation along with unpredictable fluctuations in gold and real estate prices on the domestic economy; the private economic sector still faces difficulties, affecting the production and business situation of enterprises and employment of workers.
There are still many concerns about the situation of agricultural products produced in the shortage of stable consumption markets, concerns about high raw material prices and electricity bills.
Voters and people are also concerned and worried about the situation of violations of regulations on fire prevention and fighting, still at risk of occurring, fires and explosions killing many people; natural disasters, "storm on storm, flood on flood", causing very serious consequences, seriously affecting the lives and property, and lives of people.
The flooding and traffic jams have not been effectively resolved in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; voters and people are looking forward to the Party and State having more fundamental and feasible solutions in preventing natural disasters, responding to climate change, protecting the environment of soil, water, air... so that people can have a stable and safe life.
The settlement of "suspended" projects and works is still slow, causing waste of State resources, people's rights and difficulties for business production.
There are still some difficulties related to facilities at the commune level, the situation of commune-level cadres and civil servants "over and under-reserve", which needs to be addressed more thoroughly.
Another problem, according to the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, voters and people are worried and upset about the situation of fraud that has not been completely resolved, such as: fraudulent phone calls, offers to buy, sell, receive gifts, especially the increase in the number of cases taking advantage of the social network environment and digital technology.
