On the afternoon of August 5, the Steering Committee of the 35th Government Party Committee held its first Conference to comprehensively evaluate the results of activities in the past time, orient the direction and key tasks in the coming time and ask for opinions from members of the Steering Committee on a number of major and important plans related to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
Immediately after its establishment, the Steering Committee has developed and issued the Working Regulations, clearly defining the role, functions, and responsibilities of each member and the working department; maintaining a regular meeting regime, assigning units to monitor areas and information lines.
Thereby promptly detecting and handling false and hostile information related to the Government, Party and State leaders and sensitive issues that are of public interest, especially in the fields of health, education, food safety, and fraud in cyberspace.
In particular, the work of fighting, preventing and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights is identified as a key task, regular and continuous, with no forbidden areas and no exceptions.
This is a political requirement, demonstrating the strong direction of the Party Committee Secretary and the Prime Minister with the consistent viewpoint: "Every day is a peak". At the same time, I hope that each citizen will be both a soldier in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, intellectual property infringement, and a smart consumer in the market...
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh clearly stated the spirit of covering 10 tasks of the Steering Committee, which is "greening positive information, enhancing the resilience of cadres, party members and people, and fighting against bad arguments".
At the same time, promote political and ideological education, improve "resistance" for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers throughout the Party Committee, be alert, wise when using social networks, and have the ability to "campaign" against bad and toxic information.
According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, fighting against bad arguments requires specialized forces. Build a team of collaborators and experts who are large and sharp, both courageous, grasping the problem and being proficient in technology.
The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee studies policies for treatment, protection, training, and fostering for this force, because this is a pioneering force on the ideological front.
