On March 2nd, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund held a press conference to announce the list of 19 outstanding nominations to enter the online voting round of the "Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam" Award in 2025.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Director of the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund, Standing Member of the Award Appraisal Council - said that the quality of this year's nomination dossiers is quite uniform and outstanding in many fields.
The Award Council has worked carefully and carefully to select truly typical faces with outstanding achievements and positive spillover effects in the community.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Central Team Council, Standing Vice Chairman of the Award Appraisal Council - said that the highlight of this year's award is the appearance of many young faces in new fields such as: Sports, culture - arts, besides traditional categories.
This shows that the young generation of Vietnam is increasingly developing comprehensively, not only proficient in expertise but also ambitious to reach out to the region and the world.
Over 29 years of organization, the Award has honored 290 typical young Vietnamese faces and 285 promising young Vietnamese faces in many fields.
In 2025, the Organizing Committee received 145 nominations from 37 units nationwide, with diverse structures in gender, ethnicity, education level and age (from 10 to 38 years old).
Among the candidates, many familiar faces with outstanding achievements and positive spread in the community appeared such as: Dr. Pham Anh Tuan, Village Head Mua A Thi, singers Hoa Minzy, Phuong My Chi, Duc Phuc and player Nguyen Dinh Bac.
The online voting round of the "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face" Award in 2025 takes place from March 2nd to March 16th, 2026 on the online newspaper system and official website.
