The Prime Minister affirmed that solidarity is a precious tradition of our nation through thousands of years of heroic history. Under the leadership of the Party, this precious tradition continues to be highly promoted in the cause of fighting for national independence, national unification, the cause of renovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.
The Prime Minister said that organizing the National Great Unity Day in residential areas contributes to strengthening the strength of the National Great Unity bloc and enhancing the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.
The Prime Minister shared that this year's festival is even more important when the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people are urgently competing and striving to achieve the highest goals of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, practically welcoming the success of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and looking forward to organizing the 14th National Party Congress.
The Prime Minister informed the people about the country's socio-economic development situation, emphasizing that this year we achieved and exceeded 15/15 basic targets, including exceeding the growth target assigned by the National Assembly.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people continue to join hands, unite, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, solidarity, encourage and help poor households and families in difficult circumstances to rise up to have a better life with the spirit of "leaving no one behind". Among them, promoting good traditions and achieved results, resolutely implementing the goals of Resolution XIII of the Party and Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; continue to encourage people to strengthen the strength of national solidarity, successfully complete the political, economic, cultural and social tasks of the locality.
The Prime Minister emphasized three points. One is to eliminate hunger and poverty, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the people by 2025, in the spirit of promoting great solidarity. Second, we must remove traffic bottlenecks so that we have an inter-provincial, inter-regional, inter-national, and inter-international traffic system for development. Third, the spirit of great national solidarity, as a border province, with a border with China, Lang Son must promote the spirit of great international solidarity and must do it, build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border, promoting the spirit of Vietnam - China friendship. We are both comrades and brothers. Neighbors must "help each other in times of need". Lang Son border province as well as the northern provinces with borders must ensure this spirit.
Emphasizing the teaching of beloved Uncle Ho “Unity, unity, great unity. Success, success, great success”, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes and believes that the people of Zone 8 and Lang Son province will promote the spirit of great unity in each neighborhood, town, district, province, the whole country and internationally through specific products.
Along with that, it is necessary to well implement the relationship of "Party leadership, State management, people mastery", promote "innovation to break through, creativity to reach far, integration to move forward, solidarity to gain more strength", successfully and comprehensively implement the goals and tasks of 2024, create momentum and a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable development in the coming time; the material and spiritual life of the people is higher year after year.
