Accordingly, Mr. Dao Trong Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Council. Mr. Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. Mr. Vu Tien Phung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
Previously, in his opening speech, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Council Le Van Hieu said that the 30th session will discuss, consider and decide on many important contents. Including 5 legal contents related to the system of legal documents; organization and operation of State financial funds; public investment plans; content, expenditure levels in the field of education and regimes and policies for people working in special associations; Land acquisition portfolio to facilitate site clearance for the implementation of key projects, especially strategic infrastructure projects of the city.
The City People's Council also considered and decided on 9 contents to concretize Resolution No. 226 dated June 27, 2025 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city.
