On October 24, in Tran De commune (Can Tho city), a conference was held to announce the decision on personnel work.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee announced and presented the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of cadres.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung - Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, ceased to hold the position of Chief of Office of the People's Committee of the City and related positions; was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Tran De Commune, term 2025 - 2030; at the same time, was introduced to be appointed as Chairman of the People's Council of Tran De Commune, term 2021-2026.
Previously, on October 17, 2025, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued Decision No. 50-QD/TU on personnel work.
According to this decision, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee transferred Mr. Nguyen Trong Son - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tran De Commune to work at the City People's Committee Office; appointed him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City People's Committee Office Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, and at the same time introduced him to be elected as a member of the City People's Committee, term 2021-2026. On that basis, the Chairman of the City People's Committee issued a decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Trong Son as Chief of the City People's Committee Office.
