Hung Yen - The Provincial People's Council has passed 27 important resolutions at the regular meeting in mid-2026, creating a basis for implementing socio-economic development goals.

On July 9, the 2026-2031 term continued the second working day program and closed the regular meeting in mid-2026. The meeting considered and decided on many important contents, voted to pass 27 resolutions, creating a legal basis for implementing the socio-economic development goals of the province in the coming time.

At the beginning of the working session, the Provincial People's Council listened to a summary report on the results of discussions at 5 delegation groups with 39 turns of opinions, focusing on assessing the results of socio-economic development, national defense - security, building the political system in the first 6 months of 2026 and proposing many solutions to remove difficulties.

Delegates proposed to continue to improve mechanisms and policies for agricultural development; invest in irrigation infrastructure, clean water supply, waste treatment; adjust the revenue decentralization mechanism, allocate resources to communes after arranging administrative units; accelerate residential area projects, resettlement, commercial housing, transportation, urban planning; strengthen investment in education, health, relic preservation and soon remove obstacles in public investment, public asset management, and site clearance.

The question-and-answer session took place sôi nổi, focusing on issues of concern to voters. Provincial People's Council delegates questioned leaders of departments: Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology, Construction, Home Affairs, Health on rural clean water quality; issuance of land use right certificates; development of OCOP products; online public services; construction of shared data warehouses, open data portals; disbursement of resources for science, technology and digital transformation; parking lot planning; updating construction material prices; improving the quality of commune-level officials and grassroots health capacity.

Speaking in conclusion, Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments, branches, and localities to strictly implement commitments to the Provincial People's Council, focusing on solving issues of concern to voters. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Boards of the Provincial People's Council will strengthen supervision of the implementation of the contents after questioning.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that in the first 6 months of 2026, the province's socio-economy continued to achieve many positive results. GRDP growth rate reached 10.72%, belonging to the group of high-growth localities of the country; budget revenue reached 48.4% of the estimate; disbursement of public investment capital continued to be in the leading group.

To complete the GRDP growth target for 2026 from 11.5% or more, the Provincial People's Committee will focus on removing difficulties for production and business; accelerate the progress of projects, especially urban projects; promote disbursement of public investment; effectively operate the two-level local government model; improve the decentralization and delegation mechanism and synchronously implement social security policies.

At the end of the session, the Provincial People's Council voted to approve 27 resolutions on restructuring the agricultural sector, poverty reduction, ensuring social security, developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and many contents on public investment and socio-economic development of the province.
