The parade and marching activities during the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification received the attention and expectations of many people.
At the February 2025 meeting of the Ministry of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - assessed that in February 2025, units have actively deployed preparations for parades and parades to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
Providing many working orientations in March 2025 at the recent General Staff Conference, General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), Deputy Minister of National Defense - requested the General Staff to continue directing forces participating in parades and parades in the Ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification to ensure quality, safety and discipline.
Previously, the Minister of National Defense issued Directive No. 91/CT-BQP dated December 10, 2024 on organizing military and militia forces to participate in parades during the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
To organize and effectively implement the parade and parade tasks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army requested agencies and units to continue to strictly implement Directive No. 91/CT-BQP dated December 10, 2024 of the Minister of National Defense, ensuring unity, synchronization, and achieving high results.
The Head of the General Staff requested the Military - Schools Department to develop a plan for training, preliminary approval, general approval of parades, marches and organize consultations with agencies and units to implement. Direct units to organize training according to the program, ensuring strictness and unity; taking basic training as the main focus, as the basis for practicing the group in the bloc to achieve the set goals and requirements.
Closely coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City in coordinating the construction of the suspicious and mass parade blocks. Organize well the training of armed forces in April 2025, including 2-3 times at the location of the celebration.
At the same time, closely cooperate with the Ho Chi Minh City Police and People's Committee in regulating traffic, dividing lanes, avoiding congestion and ensuring absolute safety in force mobilization.
