Establish and merge 7 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including: Resolution on the establishment of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Kien Giang province on the basis that the Ethnic Committee of Kien Giang province receives additional functions, tasks and organizes the state management apparatus of religion from the Department of Home Affairs of Kien Giang province.

Resolution on merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kien Giang province and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Kien Giang province into the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Kien Giang province.

Resolution on merging the Department of Planning and Investment of Kien Giang province and the Department of Finance of Kien Giang province into the Department of Finance of Kien Giang province.

Resolution on merging the Department of Transport of Kien Giang province and the Department of Construction of Kien Giang province into the Department of Construction of Kien Giang province.

Resolution on merging the Department of Information and Communications of Kien Giang province and the Department of Science and Technology of Kien Giang province into the Department of Science and Technology of Kien Giang province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang Province Lam Minh Thanh requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to urgently implement. Organize the announcement of the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and consolidation of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee to operate stably; At the same time, issue specific decisions regulating the functions, tasks, organization of the apparatus, personnel, staffing and proactively seriously implement the directives of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee related to the arrangement of the apparatus with the highest determination, not allowing the operations of agencies and units to be interrupted or miss work.

" Monitor and direct timely handling of problems and difficulties arising in the process of merging and establishing agencies, associated with restructuring the apparatus with restructuring the team of cadres and civil servants and innovating the way of organizing work", Mr. Thanh emphasized.
