The Organizing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee has just sent a document to the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces on requesting policies related to the merger of provinces and the administrative organization model at the commune and ward levels.
According to the plan, the commune and ward models selected for trial operation include: Xuan Huong ward and Duc Trong commune (Lam Dong); Phu Thuy ward and Ham Thuan commune (Binh Thuan); Nam Gia Nghia ward and Kien Duc commune (Dak Nong).
The expected trial operation and experience training time is June 23 or 24, 2025.
The Organizing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee proposed to allow cadres, civil servants and public employees to continue working on site in Binh Thuan and Dak Nong to solve the remaining work, serving the operation of the two-level administrative apparatus from July 1, 2025 in the spirit of Conclusion 167-KL/TW of the Politburo.
In the immediate future, only the leaders of the headquarters will move to the new headquarters of Lam Dong province for general direction; the personnel transfer will be carried out according to an appropriate roadmap.
The Organizing Committee recommends assigning members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to closely monitor and direct the reorganization of the apparatus. Thereby, ensuring the operation of the new units in accordance with regulations, without disrupting socio-economic development, national defense and security.
At the same time, continue to direct, urge, and guide the preparation and organization of Party Congresses of communes, wards, and special zones in accordance with Directive 45-CT/TW and the Central Government's plan. Of which, 100% (124/124) of grassroots congresses must be completed before July 31, 2025.
