On June 18, the Trade Union of Lam Dong Provincial Government said that the unit had just held an executive committee meeting to review the activities of the first 6 months of 2025.
Mr. Ngo Van Son - Chairman of the Trade Union of Lam Dong Provincial Government informed that the unit was established and officially put into operation from April 2025. The Lam Dong Provincial Government Trade Union has 68 affiliated grassroots unions, with nearly 5,000 union members.
Mr. Son said that the unit should promptly develop and promulgate working regulations of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and internal regulations for stable and orderly operation.
Along with that, the Lam Dong Provincial Government Trade Union focuses on taking care of union members and workers.
During Workers' Month, the union gave gifts to more than 220 people, with an amount of over 110 million VND; organized a volleyball tournament with more than 300 athletes and more than 1,000 fans participating...
Up to now, the Lam Dong Provincial Party Trade Union has completed the assigned targets and tasks, ready for the work of arranging the organization and apparatus of the province, Mr. Ngo Van Son affirmed.
At this conference, the Lam Dong Provincial Government Trade Union announced the decision to dissolve and terminate activities for 38 grassroots trade unions. This is a trade union in agencies and units receiving 100% of salary from the State budget.
Also at this event, 30 grassroots unions and units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the State budget were handed over to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Lam Dong Provincial Government presented the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union organization" to 2 individuals; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 2 collectives and 3 individuals; and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Education Trade Union to 1 individual.
The unit also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to 4 collectives and 6 individuals; the Lam Dong Cao Truong Trade Union was awarded the emulation flag of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
