On the afternoon of January 14, in Dong Ha city of Quang Tri province, the ceremony to award the First Class Labor Medal by the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Quang Tri province took place.
The President of the People's Democratic Republic of Vietnam awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the people of Quang Tri province for their achievements in close relations with Laos in cooperation and financial support for the development of Champasak province. At the same time, for their achievements in celebrating the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship and Cooperation Treaty on July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2022 and the 60th anniversary of the signing of the establishment of Laos-Vietnam diplomatic relations on September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2022.
On behalf of the leaders of Quang Tri province, Mr. Hoang Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province received the First Class Labor Medal from the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic for Quang Tri province.
Mr. Hoang Nam expressed his joy, emotion and sincere gratitude for the attention and recognition of the Lao Party and State for the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province.
It is known that in recent times, Quang Tri and Champasak provinces have organized investment promotion conferences, exchanged congratulatory letters on major events of each side on the occasion of traditional New Year, National Day, Party Congresses at all levels... as well as regularly visited, shared and provided timely encouragement during times of natural disasters and epidemics in each province.
