Nghe An proactively arranges the apparatus, strongly spreads mass mobilization work

Building and repairing nearly 14,000 houses for the poor

On April 11, the interdisciplinary working group of the Ministry of Home Affairs led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha had a working session with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to survey and evaluate 5 years of implementing Directive No. 33 of the Prime Minister on government propaganda work; at the same time, grasp the situation of administrative apparatus organization arrangement in the province.

At the meeting, Director of Nghe An Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Viet Hung reported the results of 5 years of implementing Directive 33 and the implementation of major policies on organizational structure. Accordingly, Nghe An province has systematically and synchronously implemented Directive 33, associated with implementing the democratic regulations and administrative reform. Mass mobilization work is integrated into socio-economic development programs, improving public ethics and service quality to the people.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the whole province has mobilized and supported the construction and repair of nearly 14,000 houses for the poor and people in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the strong spread of mass mobilization work.

Up to now, the whole province has built 924 models and bright spots, including 467 government mass mobilization models, contributing to promptly resolving urgent and complicated issues at the grassroots level, strengthening the people's trust in the government.

Regarding the organization of the apparatus, Nghe An province closely followed the direction of the Central Government and the guidance of the Ministry of the Interior, following the spirit of "running and queuing" but still ensuring the progress and quality. The arrangement of provincial and district -level specialized agencies has been scientifically, stabilizing the organization, personnel and normal operation after the merger.

The province has also proactively developed a plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units, prepare conditions for working headquarters, public assets, redundant staff and implementation mechanisms when there is a policy from the Central Government.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long shared with the working delegation about specific difficulties such as large areas and unsynchronized infrastructure in 11 mountainous districts and towns; at the same time, he pledged that the province will seriously implement the direction, ensure the progress of building a 2-level government, merging communes and major programs of the Central Government such as Resolution 57 on digital transformation and science and technology.

Bright spots in implementing Directive 33

At the meeting, members of the Ministry of Home Affairs mission recorded outstanding results, evaluating Nghe An as a bright spot in the implementation of Directive 33.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha highly appreciated the efforts, proactive, creative and responsible spirit of Nghe An province. He suggested that the province continue to pay attention to implementing government propaganda work in conjunction with solving people's problems well, improving the quality of service to the people.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha emphasized: "The mobilization must be the motivation to improve the performance of the political system, build the administration to better serve the people". At the same time, the province needs to focus on propagating and raising awareness in the contingent of cadres and civil servants about the position and role of the authorities; Continue to renovate the content and mode of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs hopes that Nghe An will continue to be a leading locality, effectively implementing major policies on organizational structure and government mobilization in the new period.
