On September 15, the Government Office announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just signed Official Dispatch No. 164/CD-TTg to commend investors, Project Management Boards, consulting units, and contractors for construction at key national projects.
The Prime Minister congratulated and commended investors, project management boards, consulting units, contractors and tens of thousands of engineers and workers who have been working enthusiastically day and night at key national construction sites.
Although it is a National Day holiday, at the construction sites: North - South Eastern Expressway in the 2021-2025 period (at the Component Projects of Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Can Tho - Hau Giang, Hau Giang - Ca Mau sections); Huu Nghi - Chi Lang, Dong Dang - Tra Linh, Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway projects; major urban transport projects such as Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, An Phu intersection, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro; Long Thanh International Airport project; 110kV and medium and low-voltage power grid energy projects in the South, ...; thousands of cadres and workers have worked "3 shifts, 4 shifts", "working through holidays, through Tet".
Thereby affirming the determination to "not work enough during the day, take advantage of working at night; do it as you are; say it, do it; say less, do more", overcome difficulties, ensure progress, quality, safety and investment efficiency of projects.
This contributes to realizing the goal in 2025: completing over 3,000 km of highways, over 1,700 km of coastal roads, basically completing the Long Thanh international airport project and many other strategic infrastructure projects.
Currently, works and projects are in the final stage, peak season, to continue promoting the achievements, speeding up the implementation of key projects, in time to start construction and inaugurate on December 19.
The Prime Minister requested that heads of agencies and units must directly direct, inspect, urge, and take full responsibility for implementation results; ministries, branches, and localities must promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, especially in site clearance and material supply for projects, proactively coordinate, and avoid congestion affecting overall progress.
Pay attention to the lives and policies for workers and engineers directly on the construction site.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Construction to be responsible for monitoring and urging the progress of projects; synthesizing the implementation status of projects, and periodically reporting to the Prime Minister according to regulations.
Direct investors to focus on speeding up investment preparation procedures, organizing "3 shifts, 4 teams" to ensure the groundbreaking and inauguration of works on December 19, especially the North - South, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressways, Long Thanh International Airport,....
The Ministry of Finance balances, arranges and disburses public investment capital in a full and timely manner for key projects; at the same time, urgently completes the development of a Decree guiding the National Assembly's Law No. 90/2025/QH15 on bidding to select investors to create a legal corridor for implementation.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over coordination with ministries, branches, localities and the Government Office to organize timely commendation work for individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in implementing infrastructure construction investment on the occasion of December 19.
