On September 4, in Hanoi, the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies held a Conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the Conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee - announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the assignment, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that, based on the requirements and tasks of the work, the Politburo decided to assign and transfer Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee to cease holding the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office and related concurrent positions according to the structure and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time, participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Politburo also decided that Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee will cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee; transfer, assign, and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committees of Central Party agencies.
On behalf of the Politburo, congratulating Mr. Nguyen Long Hai on receiving the new responsibility, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that he continue to promote his experiences, abilities, and strengths to work with the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies to work together to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
At the Conference, on behalf of the Party Committees of the Central Party Agencies, the Standing Secretariat congratulated and thanked Mr. Le Hoai Trung for his very positive and important contributions to the Party Committee in the past time; hoped and requested him in his new position to continue to show affection, care, support and help the Party Committees of the Central Party Agencies.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai expressed his honor and joy at being trusted by the Politburo to transfer, assign, and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies. He affirmed that this is both a great honor and a very important task.
Mr. Nguyen Long Hai promised to strive to practice political courage, ethics, and style; continue to learn and improve knowledge, especially in Party building work, especially the research and updating of new regulations of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat related to the organization and operation of Party Committees of Central Party agencies to apply to work.
