In the afternoon of March 27, continuing the working program of the first session, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province, term XX, proceeded to elect the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026-2031.
With absolute confidence, Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, term XIX, 2021-2026, was re-elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XX, 2026-2031.
Also with absolute confidence, Mr. Mai Son, Dao Quang Khai, Le Xuan Loi, Pham Van Thinh, Ngo Tan Phuong, Phan The Tuan continued to be elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son expressed his respect for the trust and expectations of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, provincial leaders and People's Council delegates.
Mr. Pham Hoang Son affirmed that this is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee and people of the province in the context that Bac Ninh is facing new opportunities.
In the new term, the Provincial People's Committee will drastically act to maintain the double-digit economic growth rate; prioritize attracting high-tech investment and accelerating the progress of key dynamic projects such as: Gia Binh International Airport Project, Ring Road 4, Ring Road 5... to expand development space", Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
In addition, Mr. Pham Hoang Son affirmed that he will pay special attention to social security, education, health and preservation of Kinh Bac cultural values; and at the same time promote administrative reform, digital transformation and resolutely fight against corruption and wastefulness, maintain national defense and security so that Bac Ninh is truly an attractive, green and livable destination.
