On the morning of March 12, at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (Hanoi), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with the Ministry of National Defense and ministries and sectors on developing high-tech defense industry (CNQP).
Attending the working session were General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of National Defense; General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Member of the Politburo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of ministries, branches, and central agencies.

At the working session, the working delegation listened to leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of CNQP, and the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group report on the results of leadership, direction, and deployment of all aspects of CNQP development in the 2021-2025 term.
Under the close, synchronous and effective leadership and direction of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense, in the 2021-2025 term, Vietnam's CNQP industry has made outstanding developments, making important contributions to the overall development of the country.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated, acknowledged, and praised the outstanding results and achievements in the past term, and at the same time directed and oriented important contents for the next term.
Accordingly, the Ministry of National Defense continues to coordinate the synchronous and effective implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; Resolution of the 8th Central Committee of the 13th term on the Strategy for National Protection in the new situation; Resolution 08 of the Politburo on "Promoting the development of CNQP to 2030 and the following years"; Resolution 57 of the Politburo on "Breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation" along with many important resolutions, conclusions, and directions of the Party, State, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Military Commission in these fields.

The Prime Minister also emphasized focusing on developing CNQP in a proactive, self-reliant, self-strengthening, dual-use, and modern direction; promoting the effective application of scientific and technological achievements and innovation.
Prioritize mastering basic technology, core technology, strategic technology and promote the commercialization of CNQP products; combine CNQP development tasks in the national industrial development strategy.
The Prime Minister also requested ministries, branches, and related units to continue to improve institutions, mechanisms, and preferential policies; strengthen investment resources and pay attention to training and fostering, improving the quality of human resources, attracting talents in the CNQP sector; contributing to bringing CNQP to develop quickly and sustainably, meeting the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new era.
